Past Meeting Summaries:

The RADARS® System Eighth Annual Scientific meeting was held on April 8th and 9th, 2014 at the Westin Georgetown in Washington DC.

 

The RADARS® System annual meeting encourages prescription drug abuse experts, representatives from the pharmaceutical industry, medical professionals, and federal regulatory agencies to discuss current trends in prescription drug abuse research and trends; and to develop strategies to ensure the safe and proper use of prescription medications.

This year the meeting focused on new frontiers in prescription drug abuse surveillance. The speakers and presentations can be found below:

The meeting was very well attended and had 106 participants, including researchers, federal research and regulatory agency representatives, pharmaceutical industry leaders, society leadership and policymakers.

 

 

New for this year, on April 8, 2014, we held and International Session: Monitoring Prescription Drug Abuse across the Globe.
