· The RADARS System provides prescription drug abuse data to a variety of organizations including:
§ Pharmaceutical manufacturers who wish to monitor the safe and illegal use of their products (including brand and generic manufacturers),
§ Regulatory agencies,
§ Policymakers,
§ Public health officials, and
§ Other interested parties.
· Product-specific data are collected by the RADARS System. These data can be compared to other products and drug substances monitored by the RADARS System and other drug substances can easily be added.
· The RADARS System collects prescription drug abuse, misuse and diversion data on a quarterly basis providing rapid information to identify signal sites for abuse, misuse and diversion and the ability to track trends over time.
· Subscribers receive detailed quarterly and annual reports within four months of the end of a quarter/year.
